Effective: October 2, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to purchases and engagements made directly with Stack Max LLC. Individual Stack Max products and signed service agreements may include separate terms; where they differ, those product-specific or written terms control.
This policy does not limit rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
2. Currency, taxes, and payment methods
Unless stated otherwise in writing, all fees are quoted and payable in United States dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, bank fees, and currency conversion costs. Refunds are issued in the original currency to the original payment method; we cannot refund to a different method or recipient.
3. Consulting and development services
Fees for work already completed, for project phases already commenced, and for non-cancellable third-party costs incurred on your behalf are non-refundable. Deposits secure scheduled capacity and are generally non-refundable once work has been scheduled.
Cancellation notice periods, milestone schedules, and the treatment of unused prepaid amounts are defined in the applicable written agreement. Where an engagement is cancelled mid-phase, we will account for work performed up to the effective cancellation date and invoice or refund the difference.
4. Subscriptions and recurring plans
Unless product-specific terms state otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date to prevent future charges.
Cancellation stops future billing; it does not normally produce a prorated refund for the current billing period, and access continues through the end of the period already paid for. If a renewal charge was clearly unintended—for example, a renewal processed immediately after a cancellation request—contact us and we will review it.
5. Digital products and credits
Because digital products, licenses, and usage credits are delivered immediately, completed purchases are generally final. Where a digital product is materially defective or does not substantially perform as described, contact us: we will attempt to remedy the problem and, where we cannot, issue a refund for the affected purchase. Credits already consumed are not refundable, and unused credits expire as stated in the applicable product terms.
6. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges
If you believe you were charged more than once, charged the wrong amount, or charged without authorization, contact us promptly with the purchase date, amount, and the last four digits of the payment method. We investigate verified billing errors and issue corrections, usually within five to ten business days of confirming the error, subject to your payment provider’s processing times.
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback, so we can resolve the issue directly and more quickly.
7. Purchases through app stores and marketplaces
Purchases processed through Apple, Google, or another marketplace are subject to that platform’s billing, cancellation, and refund rules, and the platform—not Stack Max—is the merchant of record. Refund and cancellation requests for those purchases must be submitted to the applicable platform. We can assist with product questions but cannot issue refunds for transactions we did not process.
8. Requesting a refund or cancellation
Send billing and cancellation requests to contact@stackmax.tech. To help us act quickly, include:
- the product, subscription, or engagement name;
- the transaction date and amount;
- the email address or account used for the purchase;
- a short description of what you are requesting and why.
We acknowledge requests within two business days and aim to reach a decision within ten business days. Do not email full payment card numbers or card security codes.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect.
10. Contact
Billing questions may be sent to contact@stackmax.tech or to 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.
