Effective: October 2, 2026
1. Who we are
Stack Max LLC (“Stack Max,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. We are the controller of personal information described in this policy.
Postal address: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States
Privacy contact: contact@stackmax.tech
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to stackmax.tech and to direct business communications with Stack Max LLC, including inquiries, proposals, and client correspondence.
Software products operated by Stack Max publish their own privacy policies covering the data they process in the course of providing those services. Where a product policy applies, it governs that product. This policy governs this website.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which are governed by their own policies.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us or enter into an engagement, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, company or organization, job title, and the content of your inquiry or correspondence. Where we are engaged to perform work, we may also receive billing and project information necessary to deliver and invoice that work.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers process standard technical information when you visit this website, including IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system information, referring URL, pages requested, and the date and time of each request. This information is used to serve the site, maintain security, and diagnose faults.
Contact form
Our contact page embeds a form operated by Typeform (Typeform S.L.). When you submit an inquiry, the information you enter in the form is transmitted to Typeform and made available to Stack Max so we can respond. Typeform processes that data as our service provider under its own terms and privacy policy, available at typeform.com/privacy-policy.
What we do not collect
This website does not require an account. We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, government identifiers, or payment card numbers through this website, and we ask that you do not send them to us by email or through the contact form.
4. How and why we use information
We process personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and communicate with you about your request;
- negotiate, perform, and administer contracts for our services;
- issue invoices, process payments, and keep accounting records;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve this website and our services;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information to train machine learning models.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform a contract with you.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure our website, respond to business inquiries, and protect our rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, and other statutory requirements.
- Consent — where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.
6. Service providers and disclosure
We use a small number of service providers to operate our business, including website hosting and content delivery, our contact-form provider (Typeform), email and communications, and accounting and payment processing. These providers process personal information only as needed to provide their services to us, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
We may also disclose personal information:
- to professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidence;
- where required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request;
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stack Max, our clients, or the public;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the information transferred.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional measures where necessary.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are generally retained for up to 24 months. Client and engagement records, including contracts and invoices, are retained for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and limitation-period rules. Server and security logs are retained for a short period consistent with their operational purpose.
9. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and reputable managed infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our security page for how to report a vulnerability.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you; to request correction of inaccurate information; to request deletion; to object to or request restriction of certain processing; to receive a portable copy of information you provided to us; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
California residents may also request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed, and may exercise these rights without receiving discriminatory treatment. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.
To exercise a right, email contact@stackmax.tech from the address associated with your request and describe what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Requests may be refused in part where an exemption applies, in which case we will explain why. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits it.
11. Cookies and analytics
Most pages on this website use only the cookies and similar technologies necessary to serve and secure the site. The contact page uses Typeform, which may set its own cookies when you interact with the embedded form. Our Cookie Policy describes what is used and the choices available to you.
12. Children
This website and our services are directed to businesses and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email contact@stackmax.tech and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The effective date above indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
14. Contact and complaints
Questions, privacy requests, and complaints may be sent to contact@stackmax.tech or to 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, though we would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
