1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site keep information on your device for comparable purposes. They can be set by the site you are visiting (first-party) or by another domain (third-party).
2. What this website uses
This website does not require an account, does not run advertising, and does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on most pages.
We use only what is strictly necessary to serve and secure the site. This may include short-lived cookies set by our hosting and content delivery providers for load balancing, request routing, abuse prevention, and fault diagnosis. These are essential: the site cannot be served reliably without them, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Our contact page embeds a form from Typeform (Typeform S.L.). When you load or use that form, Typeform may set cookies or use similar technologies to operate the form, prevent abuse, and remember preferences. Typeform’s use of cookies is described in its privacy policy. An inline notice appears below the form on the contact page.
Our web fonts are served from Google Fonts. Fonts are requested as static files and we do not use Google Fonts to set advertising cookies, though your IP address is necessarily visible to that provider in order to deliver the file.
3. Analytics
We do not currently run third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, session recording, or advertising pixels on this website. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and, where consent is legally required, ask for it first.
4. Why we do not show a site-wide cookie banner
Consent banners are required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Most pages on this website set only essential cookies and run no tracking or advertising technologies. The contact page uses Typeform, which may set non-essential cookies when you interact with the embedded form; we disclose that on the contact page itself rather than through a site-wide banner. This policy exists so you can verify what is and is not in use.
5. Your choices
You can view, block, and delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode. Blocking essential cookies may affect how reliably this website loads. Your browser’s help documentation explains the controls available for your specific version.
6. Products operated by Stack Max
Software products operated by Stack Max are separate services and may use additional cookies for authentication, preferences, and product analytics. Each product discloses its own cookie use in its own policy.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes. Questions may be sent to contact@stackmax.tech. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
